Further Information
Travel By Air, Shannon International Airport (called the gateway to Europe) is a 15 minute drive from the accommodation. By ferry, there are various ferry routes into Ireland, Cork being the closest main one. By Car ask for details.
Accommodation We can accommodate up to 40 people during the School. Each apartment will hold four people. Two singles in one room with en-suite, and two other individual rooms with a shared bathroom. Bed linen is supplied but students must bring their own towell and toiletries.
Cleaning A very basic cleaning rota operates each week. Several washing machines and tumble driers are available for paid use for your own laundry.
Course Fee We try to keep costs to a minimum; the price covers food (Monday through to Saturday) and accommodation as well as the course fee. The fee for the School is €400 or £400 (€20 or £20 per day).
When to arrive We would like all attendees to be in and ready for a briefing at 6pm on Sunday evening. We would strongly suggest that all get well rested on Sunday night as the first Monday will be the most intensive and tiring.
Schedule The School will last for three weeks. Each day starts at 6 a.m. including the very first day with an hour of prayer. We will teach between 7 and 10 lessons a day with meal and tea breaks in between. Each day ends with an hour of prayer. The prayer life and discipline of this School is essential. Students who are late for prayer or lessons or who fall asleep, will forfeit graduating.
Teaching The lessons will be taught by B.H Clendennen via DVD on a large screen which has been very effective the world over as well as live preaching. The local School Director will also have much input in the running of the School. There are 158 lessons broken down into 19 series.
Meals and Fasting Breakfast lunch and supper is provided each day with a main meal usually at lunch time. During the school we will have one joint day of fasting and prayer each week but we would encourage you to fast more as led by the Spirit of God.
School Material Manuals, DVD’s, CD’s, tapes and books will be available.
Telephone/Internet Please note that we are NOT responsible for providing telephone or internet communication. However, there should be easy access to such during your stay.
Graduation Service An open graduation service will be held on the final Friday evening of the course. Those who have completed the full 3 weeks will be asked to testify to the work of God in their life during the course and will receive a certificate of graduation. Please note this certificate does not give the student a HETAC qualification or any such educationally recognized qualification but is a certificate of recognition of full and satisfactory attendance and fulfillment of the requirements of SOC. Family and friends are welcome to attend this service.
Dress Code Students are expected to dress modestly at all times. The graduation service is considered a special occasion and students would normally bring a suit/smarter clothes for that evening. Being Ireland there may be frequent rain so please prepare for this as there will be a 100 metre walk between accomodation, meeting room and dinning room.
Follow Up If you want help using the School in your local Church or area please contact us. For those who have gone through the School we hope to hold 3 days of prayer and fasting at regular periods throughout the year. This will be a time to be encouraged, strengthened and challenged to follow through with God. These times will involve ministry from very able preachers whom we respect in the Word and who will be able to inspire the hearts of all those hungry for more of God.
